We highly recommend Quinton and Portal Peak Builders! We struggled initially to find a contractor that was responsive as well as professional and eventually located Quinton which has been a blessing. He is a true expert in his industry and we’ve had zero hiccups or surprises during the process. He has been willing to work with us at length on a custom build (a build other contractors wouldn’t even entertain since it was slightly outside their “normal” projects) and has kept us in the loop during every step of the process. We even threw in some last minute requests, which he easily navigated. The quality of work is exceptional and we are absolutely in love with the build. His crew does terrific work- Quinton has high expectations for them, which he shared with us. This extra attention is certainly reflective in the finished product. Whether you are looking for something straight forward, or even something a bit modern and unusual, Portal Peak will deliver.

We are still in process of having our home built. There has been very good communication throughout the process. There was an inconsistency with the plans we bought (incorrect window dimensions) and Quinton saw this and brought it to our attention *before* anything was ordered. When there are questions - they don’t “guess”- Decisions / concerns are reviewed via zoom or in person . We appreciate this attention to detail very much as we both have demanding full time jobs and neither of those jobs are “General Contractor”.

I can’t say enough about Portal Peak Builders. Our family needed a concrete slab poured for a garage in Sierra Vista. Quinton and his crew did a superb & flawless concrete slab for us. We know they do metal buildings as well, so we have chosen Portal Peak Builders for that as well.

Portal Peak Builders are a very competent concrete pouring company. Their work is with out flaw, thanks to the efforts of Alfredo and his crew my concrete turned out beautifully. Unfortunately due to covid and some other scheduling issues the work wasn't done as quickly as I would have liked. The same can be said for the steel building erection. Derrick and his crew did a commendable job putting up my Mueller steel building. Both crews were conscientious and accommodating, very pleasant to work with. Again due to issues with the building manufacturer the project took considerably longer than expected. Over all we are satisfied with the end result. Our experience with Portal Peak Builders could have been improved with better communications relating to progress of the project and more dependable scheduling. We feel that Portal Peak Builders is a fair and honest company to work with and would recommend to other customers.

Despite the pandemic restrictions, supply chain issues and ever changing weather, Quinton and his Portal Peaks crew constructed a quality, eye catching building in the heart of Tombstone AZ. We proudly tell everyone that Portal Peaks built our Barndominium and would highly recommend his team.Rudy & Peggy
