Working with MDS Homes is a breeze! They are one of the best home builders in Idaho. They’re attention to detail, craftsmanship, and creativity is unmatched in Southeast Idaho. We know this as we work with them to shoot video content of their beautiful homes so they have professional content for marketing purposes. We have seen many of their homes builds and one thing that is common between all of them no matter the budget, is the high quality craftsmanship and materials. We recommend MDS home contractors to anyone looking for a home builder in Idaho.

Where to begin with this amazing team of builders?I've always liked the idea of building my own home but so often I heard how awful it was....MDS was the exact opposite. From the beginning, they have been so friendly and helpful. They had great home plans to choose from and then made it so easy to customize.We had ideas of what our home should look/feel like, then their design team helped us realize those dreams. They helped us every step of the way to find ways to make everything come together so beautifully.I cannot stop raving about how amazing our experience was with MDS. Ideally we won't ever have to build again (because we love our dream home) but if we did, MDS would be a no-brainer!

MDS’s build quality and attention to detail is top notch. They fit and finish on our home is very nice. With quality hardware and appliances. We also had MDS build our 24 X 40 shop which complemented the home with the same siding and rock finish. We are very proud of our home and would recommend MDS to anyone.

After an exhaustive home search, we are so grateful we ended up purchasing a home built by MDS. To say MDS is a customer-centric organization would be an understatement. Morgan dropped everything to show us a spec home on short notice and truly listened to our requests. He relayed those requests to the project team and were thoughtful about the additions we requested post build. Additionally, he referred us to top notch services (landscaping, fence) and managed the business side of things post installation which we appreciated so much. Over a decade ago, I had a home built from scratch and I have to say, the customer service provided by MDS for this spec home went far above and beyond that prior experience of building a home from the ground up.We interacted with a few members from the MDS team and their subcontractors post closure to add our basement wet bar. Ethan is an incredible project manager who provided best-in-class coordination and consideration throughout the project. As we had already moved in when the project started, Ethan and his team member showed up everyday to ensure our home was properly protected from those working on our home. Ethan and his team always removed their shoes! Having lived in Hawaii, shoe removal prior to entering a home is such a gesture of respect in that culture and we appreciated seeing that here in Idaho. Ethan set up the areas for each subcontractor to drive efficiency for each component of work. We could not be more pleased with our basement bar. We are grateful to Scott, who worked with the plumber to ensure the job could be done (that was a very exciting and nerve filled day)! We know that our request was unusual and if nothing else, inconvenient to a home builder selling us an otherwise beautiful, high quality, ready to move in home, but their willingness to take us on and ensure that every detail of the wet bar met the high quality craftsmanship of an MDS home is first class.When we initially met with Morgan, we were ready to give up on finding a home in Idaho. Today, we share with pride that MDS built us our dream home without knowing it. We highly recommend MDS, no one else compares!

Wow! What an amazing company to work with. So my wife and I were looking for home builders in the area and after reaching out to many other companies (all of which never returned our calls) we found MDS on Facebook, and what a blessing. I submitted an inquiry and received a email and a call shortly thereafter. After sending our barndominium plans over to them Morgan and Scott met with us at our property and went over everything, within 24 hours my wife and I made the decision to make our dream home a reality. Every step of the way MDS was there for us, every question was answered and concern addressed. We can't thank MDS enough for making our dream home a reality.

I just closed on my first completely custom home built by MDS in October and was nothing but impressed. They made the home building process extremely easy and non-stressful. This was the first home I've had built and they took the time to walk me through every step along the way. They were extremely responsive to all my questions and requests and went above and beyond to make sure I was well informed. They are also extremely organized and were in constant communication. The build timeline was updated on a weekly basis so I always knew the next step in the process. They schedule their subs super tight and there was very rarely a day the house was sitting idle without work being done.I am super satisfied with the quality of my home. Their subs workmanship is some of the best I’ve seen. From paint and trim to flooring and tile, their finishes are beautiful and set my home apart from other builders. MDS took the time to offer great design recommendations along the way while keeping the build in budget. Everyone who visits my home is impressed with the open floor plan and tall ceilings throughout, fully finished garage, massive cold storage, custom iron handrail, large walk in shower, and impressive trim work. There are so many features and details about my home that sets it apart from the rest. If I build again I won’t think twice about working with MDS again. Great people and impressive homes.
