We’ve been in our new “French-inspired retirement home”, built by IHB, for nearly a year. What a blessing it was to work with this awesome team! If you're considering new construction, and looking for an honest, reputable and beyond-talented team, look no further! You'll rest easy knowing that you'd be in capable and caring hands.There were many disappointments and delays in our personal journey toward finding the right design and the right builder, before we were then sovereignly led to IHB. They were exactly the right choice for us, building us a beautiful and practical home, at an affordable price.From the first phone conversation with Brittney until the final walkthrough, she worked faithfully with us to ensure our home and its individualized features were everything that we envisioned. This was our second home build experience and our standards were extremely high. Yet, she never wavered or lost her zeal, enthusiasm or desire to meet, even exceed our expectations.One of my passions is home interior design. Thus, I wouldn't have been the best client candidate for most builders. I had also become somewhat “gun-shy” from the disappointing prior builder search experience. I remember the comfort of her words in that first phone conversation…”We’re not easily scared off.” Brittney and the IHB team were definitely up for the challenge! Brittney was most often steps ahead of me with thoughts and ideas, in keeping with my love of French design. At the first sit down planning meeting with her, she unveiled a personalized Pinterest page with multiple design photo ideas including many of the same that I had previously selected and saved (I wouldn’t dare share how long that meeting lasted—but WOW, what dedication and passion she demonstrated!). I was impressed! Brittney is one of the most mature, patient, professional, talented and hard-working people I have ever met and I simply cannot imagine anyone else but her as a “partner” through our build! She remained steadfast, courteous, determined and went above and beyond to reassure us during the build, even occasionally sending pics of work items completed on a given day…wonderful surprises, giving us encouragement along the journey! Brittney is a MASTER at finding needed or desired items at the best possible prices (and so is Angela!!)! With her prior experience in kitchen design, she helped me design a unique, practical kitchen that we absolutely love!DJ, the owner, is an honest man who has proven that his good reputation, both personally and professionally, is his highest priority. Every item, whether a “standard” or “upgrade” has been carefully scrutinized and every effort made to provide the best possible product for the money, with no “short-cuts in quality”. It’s clear that each allowance category has been carefully evaluated to ensure a good quality home for the client. DJ’s personal touch in the custom features are like the “jewelry on the outfit” (shutters, beams, slider doors, etc.).Angela, DJ’s wife, is truly gifted and her talents, vision and eye for detail help take this company to the next level as well. She’s to DJ as Joanna Gaines is to Chip!!Drew, with his on-site oversight of deliveries and subcontractor work, helped to ensure that the project kept moving forward. Our observation was that he did whatever was needed at any given time, and was always professional and courteous, allowing us to ask questions or to point out any concerns that we might have had.IHB works to ensure the build experience is as stress-free as possible, ensuring minimal surprises, whether financial or thru unforeseen circumstances. Obviously, this comes thru much experience and practice.We are so grateful that our Lord led us to this team! We received a beautiful, quality, “custom-like” home at a fair and affordable price. The entire team at Inspired Homes is absolutely AMAZING! We researched and meet with several builders before we had the pleasure to meet DJ with Inspired. Within the first few minutes, it was apparent that we wanted them to build our forever home. DJ is honest and very transparent about the entire building process. Brittney will answer any and all questions you have (and trust me we had a lot), always taking the time to explain each and every detail. Angela is a master when it comes to home design, and adds to the true custom nature of Inspired’s products. Lastly, Drew will take care of you regarding all construction needs and concerns; and not only will he make sure the build goes according to plan, but he’ll take the time to explain and educate you along the way for any future questions you may have.Together this team is flawless! Building a house is a huge undertaking and stressful beyond belief, but after working with Inspired I’m not sure how other builders could live up to their high professional standards. My wife and I have been living in this home for 6 months now and every day we are so grateful we made the decision to go with Inspired Homes. If you value honesty, superb craftsmanship, customer service that goes above and beyond, a competitively priced product, and having your home built by a team that feels like true family, pick Inspired Homes. Absolutely love my new home. Being a first time home buyer/builder is scary but the Inspired Home team were all wonderful from start to finish. They were always very responsive, thorough in answering questions, and willing to help achieve any request I had. Being that I had a peculiar custom build request they made my dream come to life. 10/10 recommend.

Dan & I have been living in our beautiful home for 10 months and absolutely love it. The whole building experience was easy with help from the wonderful folks working for Inspired Home Building. Everyone was so patient and helpful. If you are looking for a superb builder, I highly recommend using the builder.

First, we would like to thank the team at Inspired Home Building for their patience in waiting for this review. We have lived in our home now for almost 5 months and have loved every minute of it.From the very beginning we felt as if we were a member of their family and were treated as such. Building through a pandemic was not the easiest thing for anyone involved, yet Inspired handled it with the grace and professionalism, that it put our minds to rest.They helped us design and create not only a space to fit our family, but a space that also fit our budget. We found that their unique design, unlike your typical builders, was refreshing and innovative. The very special personal touches by DJ, Angela, and Brittany truly shined through. It has been truly refreshing to have the owners of the company be so responsive, caring, and loving towards us as a client.After living in the home for the time that we have, inevitably, there were a couple items that we needed to have addressed. The responsiveness of this company is unapparelled. DJ himself got back to us within moments of reaching out and even offered to come out that moment to address the issue. That kind of responsiveness and integrity is rare and speaks volumes in regards to this company.Overall, we give Inspired Home Building a five-star rating and would happily refer them to any of our friends and family.
