I used Brent and his team for a pretty small project for this company, a 20X8 shed with insulation and electrical. In fact, Brent never came out and said this to me, but I feel like he only agreed to my project because we struck up a conversation at the local Home Show and after telling him I was a veteran and him seeing my desire for this shed within a reasonable budget, he agreed to do it. As with any project, there were some hiccups, but Brent not only made everything right, but kept to the budget. This kind of character is hard to find nowadays. I would use this company again and I would recommend them to anyone who reads this.
You might as well take the hard earned money out of your wallet and light it on fire if you plan to hire Cascade Custom Construction. At least that way you might stay warmer than any structure Brent would build for you. He built half of a structure for me and then walked off the job with an extra $150,000 in his pocket. Brent just disappeared from the job and called me later to say he messed up on the budget and overspent by $40,000 so he left to figure it out but never came back! I had to spend 2 years in court to finally get a resolution. Brent will take you for every cent and will not deliver on any building. He was drinking on the job daily as well as his guys (see attached picture of Brent sitting in a chair drinking alcohol, then he jumped beck in the machine and kept drinking and working) He co-mingled funds from several projects and could not deliver receipts to show where the money was going. I have the facts and proof to show this is the case with him, as well as the law suit ending in my favor. The structure that he did complete was not to code and not to plan!!! I spend more money on a new contractor to fix all the code violations than Brent's initial bid for the Barndominuim. Do yourself a huge favor and stay away from Cascade Custom Construction and Brent DeArmond!!!!!!This is how Brent treats a disabled veteran when building his retirement home. Brent is a smooth talker with NO integrity!!! The engineer wouldn’t even stand behind Brent because he went out and got a new engineered plan and didn’t even say anything to me or the prior engineer. (see attached text from the engineer) I spent $80,000 just to get it back up to code to try and finish after Brent just walked away with a $150,000 check in his pocket. The WORST builder and person I have ever met!!! 😡😡😡 I will most likely have to replace all the cracked concrete foundation as well.Brent has now embedded himself in a church in Meridian, Idaho, and is now scamming the parishioners there. Please people beware of this devil and sheep clothing!!Now he has 5 star reviews again?? He must have paid off someone. With money he most likely got from more victims. 🥵
We have had many great times in our Barn built by Brent and his team. We have enjoyed the space for regular harvesting over the past three years as well as hosting many community and family gatherings. During the build, Brent was available to answer questions as well as take care of any concerns that came about. I continue to feel comfortable reaching out to Brent should I need.
Cascade Custom Construction built us a beautiful 40x60 shop. It turned out better than we hoped. He helped bring our vision to life. The attention to detail was spot on, the job site was left clean and communication on job progress was exceptional. He was available to answer the million questions we had during the process. He made sure shop matched our home perfectly. We couldn't be happier.
Built a beautiful shop on time and on budget! They were good at communicating through the build. Matched the color of the house for us too, couldn’t be happier.
